Outdoors in LA

It’s a beautiful time to be outside in Los Angeles. Here are a few of our favorite things to do on a warm, sunny day:

Dodgers’ First Home Game

Thursday, April 14, 2022, at 7:10 pm

Dodger Stadium, 1000 Vin Scully Ave, Los Angeles 90012

Dodger Stadium is the third-oldest MLB ballpark in the country and can seat more fans than any baseball stadium on earth. On Thursday, April 14, you can catch the Dodgers as they face off against the Cincinnati Reds in the first home game of the season.

Huntington Library, Art Collections, & Botanical Gardens

Wednesday – Monday, 10 am – 5 pm

1151 Oxford Rd, San Marino 91108

The Huntington Library dazzles with its collection of rare books (they own the world’s oldest edition of Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales) and fine art, which includes paintings by Gainsborough, Reynolds, Turner, and other masters. The gardens sprawl for 130 acres and are arranged by theme to include an Australian Garden, Chinese Garden, Japanese Garden, Shakespeare Garden, and many others. Reservations are required on weekends and Monday holidays.

Dining at the Rooftop

Lunch: Monday – Friday, 11 am – 5 pm

Dinner: Sunday – Thursday, 5 – 11 pm; Friday – Saturday, 5 – midnight

Brunch: Saturday & Sunday, 10 am – 3 pm

813 Flower St, Los Angeles 90017

One of the most relaxing spots in LA, The Rooftop at the Wayfarer lets you kick back and take in the panoramic view twelve stories above the street. Savor a delicious meal or sip an exclusive craft cocktail as you chat with friends and watch the stars emerge over the City of Angels.
