Instagram-Worthy Streets in DTLA

Lined with colorful murals from some of the biggest names in urban art, the Los Angeles Art District is a must-see for visitors and art lovers alike. Take a stroll through sunny downtown LA and see how many of the Instagram-worthy walls you can squeeze into your self-guided walking tour.

The Container Yard

A creative compound with walls painted by globally recognized artists, including Tristan Eaton, Ricky Watts, Andrew Hem, and Ricardo Gonzales, the spectacular works of art on display (and prints for sale inside) are always worth the walk.

Seaton Street

Featuring a rotating selection of mural work, the car park behind the Container Yard has been graced by the likes of Mu0ne, Shok-1, Matt Adnate, and Nils Westergard.

Other noteworthy areas include Seaton and East 5th Street, Traction Avenue, and South Spring and West 6th Street—although new murals often pop up overnight. Keep your eyes peeled for long-standing works of art and fresh paint alike—you could be the first to see a new piece by the next big name in street art!

After a day spent discovering and documenting the most colorful streets in DTLA, head back to The Wayfarer for a round of refreshing drinks. Watch the sun set over the city from our swanky Rooftop lounge, where the nighttime lights shine the brightest.
