Cupid Comes to DTLA
Los Angeles is the place for lovers this February as Cupid roams the City of Angels with quiver and arrows ready to strike. On Tuesday, February 14, at 6 P.M., you and your beloved are invited to join the acclaimed Orchid String Quartet for a romantic Candlelight Concert at Santa Monica’s Historic Woman’s Club. The program will include a wide range of genres and composers, from Claude Debussy’s “Clair de Lune,” to Henry Mancini’s “Moon River,” to Adele’s “Make You Feel My Love.” At DTLA’s famed Million Dollar Theater, one of the world’s very first movie palaces, you can enjoy exclusive screenings of three classic horror films as part of the Bloody Valentines Film Series: Queen of the Damned, Bram Stoker’s Dracula, and Jennifer’s Body. Each screening also features a pre-show special guest talk or performance, plus full bar service in MDT’s Lovers Lounge. And last but certainly not least, all month long, our very own Lilly Rose—that magical, mysterious underground bar—will be serving Lovers’ Lane High Tea and Highballs, featuring exceptional teas, tea-infused cocktails, and enough sweet and savory bites to satisfy even the pickiest of palates. Reservations are available every Wednesday through Sunday (plus Tuesday, February 14) from 2 – 6 P.M.
